Scribd.com: When the former owner of the Dallas Mavericks sold the team, he retained 5% ownership. A few years after selling the team, he filed multiple lawsuits accusing the new owner of mismanaging the team and even doing illegal things with the money. Yesterday the owner of the Dallas Mavericks fired back with probably the most succint motion for summary judgment we’ve ever seen.
ABA Journal: A North Carolina man who robbed a bank proved to be a cooperative criminal.
James Verone passed a note to the teller that asked for a dollar. Then he sat down and waited for police to arrive, WCNC.com reports. Verone wanted to get arrested to get prison health care.

Only higher temperatures were foreseen. Moderate or even lower temperatures, as we’re experiencing now, weren’t even listed as a possibility. Since at least 1998, however, no significant warming trend has been noticeable. Unfortunately, none of the 24 models used by the IPCC views that as possible. They are at odds with reality.”
Sadly, this is a true story. The Smoking Gun reports “A 13-year-old boy was arrested Friday for using a permanent marker while in class at his Oklahoma City middle school, a violation of an obscure city ordinance.” The boy’s teacher signed the police complaint that caused the cops to arrest the boy and take him to the station and impound the marker.
