Taxpayers to Pay to Cover Defendant’s Tatoos Before Murder Trial

St. Petersburg Times:  “Taxpayers will foot the bill for a makeup artist to cover up some potentially offensive tattoos on the face and neck of a neo-Nazi during his murder trial slated for next week.  ‘This on the side says ‘f— you’ (and) is very offensive regardless of whether he had it (at the time of the crime) or didn’t have it,’ defense attorney Bjorn Brunvand argued in court Friday.”

Arizona Cosmetology Police Close Fishy Salon – Get Sued

Arizona Republic:  The Arizona Board of Cosmetology closed a Gilbert salon because the salon offered its customers a foot bath in which Garra Rufa fish imported from China nibbled dead skin from the customer’s feet.  It’s a popular procedure in China and other states.  Not to worry, however.  Because this is such an important issue, the Goldwater Institute filed a lawsuit on behalf of Cindy Vong,  the owner, to re-open the salon.

Kid Who Dropped F Bombs on Principal is Charged with Crimes

A student suspected of smoking who dropped massive F bombs on the principal was charged with three criminal misdemeanors for the crime of interfering with staff, faculty or students of an educational institution.  The student allegedly called the principal a f*****, a fag, and a f****** fag.  The potty mouth youth’s public defender’s defense is that the law violates the student’s rights of free speech under the U.S. and Colorado constitutions.  The public defender filed a Motion to Dismiss the Constitutionality of F***, “F*****” and “F****** Fag” in which he gives a complete history of the origins and use of the F word since the year 1500.  The case is Colorado v. C.L., a Child.

Murder Becoming an Inheritance Fast-track?

examiner.com:  “In the past, benefiting from an estate was generally a reactive status. More stories are surfacing, however, indicating proactive approaches being used to gain control of estates. Nefarious deeds are nothing new to inheritance tales, but the bold sense of entitlement accompanying today’s acts illustrate America’s further progression into becoming the Land of the Gimme-Gimmes and the Home of the I-Want-Mores. Looking at cases from Ohio, Maryland, Kansas and Florida, the lengths to which people will go to acquire the assets of others literally have no physical or moral bounds.”
